As of March 31, 2003, the Team Chart Concept now supports exporting of information into Microsoft Outlook.  This, of course, means that you can now view information created on the Team Chart Concept on any PDA that can be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook.

Information that can now be inserted into Microsoft Outlook includes:

Appointments into the Microsoft Outlook Calendar.

    (This is especially useful for surgery schedules and hospital rounds.)

To Do's into the Microsoft Outlook Task List.

            Contacts into the Microsoft Outlook Contact List.

Timeline Entries into the both the Microsoft Outlook Journal and Microsoft Outlook Notes.

Team Chart Concept  E-Mails a (new Timeline Category) into Microsoft Outlook E-Mail.

Team Chart Concept 'Merge To Microsoft Word' Documents E-Mailed directly to:

           1. Any E-Mail Address

           2. To a Team Chart Concept Contact with an E-Mail address

Report Output can be bulk E-mailed (via Merge To Microsoft Word) as follows:

           To The Patient

               (this could be used for Appointment Reminders / Notifications)

           To the Referring MD on an Encounter.

           To the Supervising MD on an Encounter.

           To the Pharmacy on a Prescription.

Appointment Reports can also be downloaded into Microsoft Outlook's Calendar

Exporting Information from the Team Chart Concept into Microsoft Outlook can be done via the 'Outlook/PDA' Buttons on the

            Status Screen

            Contact Search Dialog Box

            To Do List

            Report Output Dialog Box

                  ('PDA' and 'Merge To MS Word 2000' Buttons)

            Appointment Grid

You will need Microsoft Outlook 2000 (or greater) installed on your local workstation.  Microsoft Outlook Express is NOT Supported.  To Merge Microsoft Word Documents to then be sent as e-mail requires that Microsoft Word 2000 (or greater) be installed as well.
