The Team
Chart Concept can interface with a wide range of Laboratory
Equipment and Machines.
The Team
Chart Concept can both send and receive information with other
health care systems via an HL7 Interface in real time (or in a 'batch'
mode). Though the HL7 Interface is comprehensive in nature, specific
minimum requirements for information transfer must be negotiated with Ulrich
Medical Concepts and any Lab Equipment or Health Care System Vendor. We
are more than happy to interface any equipment or health care system
with the Team Chart Concept, usually
at no charge.
The Team
Chart Concept can also manually import files created by various
Lab Devices. These import files can be HL7-based, XML-based, flat
files, or any other format preferred by the Lab Equipment Vendor.
When
importing Lab Results, the various fields that appear in these Lab Results
are saved within the Team Chart Concept. This
gives the provider the ability to run Reports for one Patient or multiple
Patients based on these Lab Results (in combination with other information
stored in the Team Chart Concept, such
as Patient Demographics, Vital Signs, etc.). For more information on
running Reports in the Team Chart Concept click here.
If
we are unable to import information from your Lab Equipment, you can always
scan-in the output from the Lab Equipment. These scanned-in files can
then be 'dragged-and-dropped' into the Patient's Timeline with the Team
Chart Concept. You may actually prefer this approach for
some graphic-based information (such as EKG's) where there are not really
any reportable values.
